Miss Emma’s was created by Emma Trickett. Her classes are non-judgmental, non-competitive and accepting of wherever you’re at. She looks forward to welcoming you to her classes – they are full of fun, laughter, friendship and lovely music, but also lots of detail for those of you who would love to learn about technique. Come along anytime, you’ll always be welcome!
A bit about Emma:
Emma’s first love was childhood Gymnastics which led to the wonderful world of Ballroom dancing in her teens. She is now in her late 30s and still absolutely loves both!
Emma loves being able to share her lifelong passion for movement and really enjoys teaching. Along with teaching adults, she is delighted to teach Gymnastics, PE and Dance-Fit to little ones in local Primary Schools. Her school gymnastics teams recently won the yearly inter-school competition and her primary school dance group performed at the Wyvern Theatre in front of a sold out audience of 750 people for the Wiltshire Dance Festival – she is so proud of all of them!
Emma has also had the privilege of working with a whole range of different clients and health professionals over the years as a qualified Sports & Remedial Massage Therapist. This really helped to develop her knowledge of the body and how it moves which complemented her gymnastics/dancing enormously.
- British Gymnastics: Intermediate Primary School Gymnastics Teacher
- International Dance Teachers Association: Professional Teacher of Dance, specialising in Ballroom & Latin-American dancing
- London School of Sports Massage: Sports & Remedial Massage Therapist

Emma suffered a life changing double head injury in May 2016 and really understands the need to learn and move at your own unique pace. After a period of recovery time, she was so pleased to ease back in to dancing and gymnastics. She looks forward to seeing you at one of her classes sometime soon!
