Emma looks forward to welcoming you to her classes – they are full of fun, laughter, friendship and lovely music. Come along anytime, you’ll always be welcome!
A little bit about Emma:
Emma’s first love was childhood Gymnastics which led to the wonderful world of Ballroom dancing in her teens. She is now in her late 30s and is still in love with the magic and technique of both!
Along with teaching Ballroom, Latin, Kizomba and authentic Vintage dancing to adults, she is delighted to teach Gymnastics and Dance to little ones at St Joseph’s Primary School. Her gymnastics team won first place 2 years running in the yearly inter-school competition (2019, 2020) and her primary school dance group has performed twice at the Wyvern Theatre in front of sold out audiences for the Wiltshire Dance Festival (2019, 2020). She is so proud of all of her students!
Emma has also had the privilege of working with a range of clients and health professionals over the years as a Sports & Remedial Massage Therapist. This helped to develop her knowledge of the body and how it moves in relation to injury and restriction. She enjoys studying the movement works of Rudolf Laban, Alexander Technique, dance history, and exploring the dances and music of other cultures.
