Miss Emma’s was created by Emma Trickett.
Emma’s first love was childhood Gymnastics which led to the wonderful world of Ballroom dancing in her teens. She is now in her late thirties and still absolutely loves both!
Emma loves being able to share her lifelong passion for movement and really enjoys teaching all of the lovely students in her dance classes. She also has the great pleasure of teaching Gymnastics, PE and Dance-Fit to little ones in local Primary Schools. Her school gymnastics team recently won the yearly inter-school competition and she is so proud of them!
Along the way, Emma had the privilege of working with a whole host of different clients and health professionals as a Sports & Remedial Massage Therapist for many years. This really helped to develop her interest in the body and how it moves which has complemented her gymnastics/dancing enormously. She values all of her clients and students and some have become lifelong friends.
- British Gymnastics: Intermediate Primary School Gymnastics Teacher
- International Dance Teachers Association: Professional Teacher of Dance, specialising in Ballroom & Latin-American dancing
- London School of Sports Massage: Sports & Remedial Massage Therapist
- Enhanced DBS
Emma suffered a life changing double head injury in May 2016 and really understands the need to learn and move at your own unique pace. After a period of recovery time, she was so pleased to ease back in to dancing and gymnastics. Her classes are non-judgmental, non-competitive and accepting of wherever you’re at.
Emma looks forward to welcoming you to her classes, they are full of fun, laughter and lovely music but also lots of detail for those of you who would love to learn about technique. Come along anytime, you’ll always be welcome!
